We have run the Fir Tree Falconry, at Fir Tree Country Park, for the past five years, and in that time we have built up an impressive collection of birds that captivate and thrill all generations on a daily basis.
Indeed, our enthusiasm is infectious when we proudly show visitors our birds of prey, from Troy the imperious Perigrine falcon, to Zeus the Red Tailed Hawk and Barney the Barn Owl to name but a few.
Keith, and his wife Sandra, along with assitant Sam, are rightly proud that they have never had a dissatisfied customer at any of their owl evenings or hawking days.
Fir Tree Falconry centre is a fully accredited assessment and administration point for Lantra's Falconry Award.
Lantra Awards specialises in qualifications and training for people in the land-based sector through a network of local approved centres and training providers, and has more than 30 years experience in this field. Lantra are an approved NVQ/SVQ and VQ awarding body.
